Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need prior training?
None. This course is designed for people with zero first aid background.
What if I do it wrong on a real casualty?
Good-samaritan protections apply in PNG. Acting in good faith with training is always better than doing nothing. CPR almost never causes harm — cardiac arrest already has.
How long is the certificate valid?
Most workplaces require annual renewal as a condition of employment. We recommend booking your refresher before your current certificate lapses so there is no gap in your coverage.
Can we run this at our mine site / office?
Yes. Onsite delivery is available anywhere in PNG for groups of 6 or more. We bring manikins, AED trainers and all equipment.
Does this cover children and infants?
Yes — adult, child and infant CPR are all covered, including correct depth and rate differences.
