Apply tourniquets or haemostatic dressings where life-threatening bleeding is present.

Certification & delivery

HLTAID015 — nationally recognised unitA certificate is issued on successful completion of practical assessment, in line with the issuing RTO’s training and assessment strategy. Annual renewal is recommended for designated emergency response team members.
Who should attend

Workplace emergency response team members and first aiders in high-risk industries — mining, oil & gas and construction — where oxygen and advanced resuscitation equipment is available onsite.

Delivery & assessment

A full day of hands-on, equipment-based practical training and assessment. Onsite delivery is strongly recommended where your site has its own oxygen and resuscitation equipment.

Do you provide the equipment?
Yes, we bring training oxygen equipment, airway devices and resuscitation manikins. If delivered onsite, we can also train on your own equipment.
