Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Is this hands-on first aid training too?
No — this unit focuses on coordinating and managing your workplace’s first aid service, kits and compliance. Hands-on emergency response skills are covered in Provide First Aid and related courses.
Who is this course for?
Anyone nominated to coordinate first aid services at their workplace — often an HSE officer, HR staff member or site administrator.
How often should we review our first aid service?
We recommend at least an annual review, or sooner if your workforce, site layout or risk profile changes significantly.
Can this be delivered per-site for multiple locations?
Yes — onsite delivery at each location lets coordinators work directly with their own site’s kits, rooms and procedures.
Does this satisfy workplace compliance requirements?
It builds the skills to manage a compliant first aid service, but specific regulatory obligations depend on your industry — confirm your exact requirements with us or your regulator.
